The Challenge

Paying for clicks that weren’t converting

In July, before onboarding, the account was underperforming and growth was unsustainable. Low conversion signaled weak buyer trust and poor listing engagement, which pushed ACOS and TACOS to inefficient levels.

Diagnosis: This was a trust and conversion problem, not a traffic problem. Ad spend was generating clicks, but the listing wasn’t converting enough of them to justify the cost — spending more would only have amplified the inefficiency.

Build trust with UGC, then tighten PPC

01

UGC Creative to Build Trust and Improve Conversion

Five high-converting UGC video assets were produced and implemented in late July, designed to strengthen customer trust and enhance the overall listing experience. The creatives focused on authentic product demonstrations, real-world usage scenarios, and relatable customer-style storytelling to make the product feel more credible and trustworthy. By reducing buyer hesitation and improving perceived value, the UGC content helped increase engagement, support stronger conversion rates, and improve the efficiency of incoming traffic without relying solely on additional ad spend.

02

Controlled PPC Efficiency Through Restructuring + Retargeting

From August onward, the PPC strategy was actively restructured to improve efficiency and profitability. Campaigns were reorganized with tighter targeting, refined keyword segmentation, and improved budget allocation to eliminate inefficient spend and focus on higher-intent traffic. Retargeting efforts were strengthened to reconnect with engaged shoppers and improve conversion quality — stabilizing performance and directing spend toward traffic with stronger purchasing signals rather than aggressive volume scaling.

Key Insight
UGC and intelligent retargeting can unlock rapid demand and profitable growth. In this case, performance accelerated enough to drive a reported stock-out by the end of October — highlighting the compounding impact of trust-building creative paired with optimized PPC execution.

Real Product, Real Use

The XL Stainless Steel Sifting Cat Litter Box

The product itself is a stainless-steel, high-sided XL sifting litter box: a stacked-tray sifting system, a drip/catch tray, a wood-handled scoop, and a design built around odor control and easy cleanup. UGC creative showed the product in real households, in real use — the kind of proof that a written listing alone can’t provide.

In 90 days, trust-building creative and controlled PPC turned a $4,947 month into a $10,198 month — and sold through inventory before October ended.
